KVTMPL cares about the environment and has installed a large Effluent Treatment Plant with zero discharge. Zero discharge means to completely recycle the water used in the process house and reuse it in the plant again by water treatment, followed by big size RO plant.
In ETP plant, used water is treated in many stages like primary, secondary & tertiary, to remove waste and then recycle it by routing it through a RO treatment. The discharge is squeezed through the filter presses and a very small amount of remaining waste water is passed through MEE plant to get it vapourised. On one side the ETP maintains environment purity and on the other side it preserves water.
